Information SalahCare processes

SalahCare can use your device location, with your permission, to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. The calculation is performed on your device. SalahCare does not upload your location to its own servers.

If you turn on automatic travel updates, SalahCare may check for a fresh location while the app is closed so prayer times, Qibla, and congregation protection can follow a major journey. Android checks about every three hours; iPhone uses Apple's significant-location change service. You can leave this off, choose a city manually, or remove location permission at any time in device Settings.

Prayer preferences, Android quiet-mode durations, iPhone Focus-guide preferences, Quran bookmarks, and the last-read Surah are stored locally on your device. No account is required.

Quran text and audio

When you open Quran content, SalahCare requests text or audio from Al Quran Cloud, an Islamic Network service. That provider may receive standard network information such as your IP address and the requested Surah or audio file. SalahCare does not send your name, location, prayer settings, bookmarks, or a SalahCare account identifier with those requests. Downloaded Quran content is cached on your device.

Device permissions

• Location while using the app: used when you ask SalahCare to find your location and calculate local prayer times and Qibla.
• Background location, optional: used only when you separately enable automatic travel updates, so SalahCare can notice a major move and refresh local prayer and congregation schedules while closed.
• Notifications: used for prayer-time reminders.
• Android Do Not Disturb access: used only when you enable Salah Quiet Mode on a supported Android device.
• Android exact alarms: used to schedule prayer reminders and quiet windows on time.
• Android start after reboot: used to restore upcoming prayer schedules after your phone restarts.
• iPhone Focus: Apple does not allow SalahCare to switch the whole iPhone to silent mode or turn Focus on automatically. The app provides reminders and setup guidance while you remain in control of Focus.

Collection, sharing, and advertising

SalahCare has no advertising, analytics SDK, social tracking, or data broker integration. We do not sell personal information. We do not operate a SalahCare server that receives your location or worship activity. The limited third-party network processing for Quran content is described above.

Storage and deletion

App settings and cached content remain on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall SalahCare. SalahCare does not keep a separate cloud copy. You can remove downloaded Quran content and local settings by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling SalahCare. On iPhone, deleting the app removes its locally stored SalahCare data.

Children and families

SalahCare is a general-audience worship utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because there is no account, advertising, or user-generated content, SalahCare does not ask children to provide personal details.

Security and changes

Network requests use encrypted HTTPS connections. We may update this policy when SalahCare changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are published.

Support

If a prayer reminder is late or missing, open Prayer Ready in SalahCare first. It shows the timing source, notification access, and upcoming scheduled actions without including your coordinates.

On Android, also confirm exact-alarm and battery settings when the app recommends them. On iPhone, confirm notification permission and review the in-app Focus guide. If the issue continues, share the privacy-safe diagnostics from Prayer Ready with info@missan.group.
